Tocqueville Society Membership
Tocqueville Society members are a community of leaders who support the campaign at the highest level with annual gifts of $10,000 or more. The Society is named after the 19th century French political thinker and historian Alexis de Tocqueville who recognized the importance of voluntary action on behalf of the common good.
Today more than ever, we need leaders to step up and become members. Your contribution of $10,000 or more sets an example for others to follow and ensures that people in our community will continue to find the help they need through United Way funded programs.
Tocqueville Society Step-Up Program
The Step-Up Program is a convenient way donors can increase their level of giving over a three year period. Matched in the first two years, the donor’s gift reaches $10,000 in the third year. A challenge grant from a local foundation makes the program possible.
